Daystars envisions to improve the quality of life for all our clients

Screening and Intake

Clients are assessed to identify if symptoms fit criteria for admission or referral to outside entities

Assessment

Clients provide background information to determine individualized needs for services and treatment planning

Group/Individual Therapy

Face to face with no more than 16 clients and/or one experienced clinician to discuss and treat symptoms according to an individualized plan of care

Case Management/Advocacy

Identification of needs and referrals to appropriate sources of support to maintain quality of life outside of treatment facility and services

Nursing Services

Administration of medication, management of minor medical illness, completion of physician ordered labs, tests and exams, monitoring of vital signs and referrals to major medical facilities

ABOUT US

In 2005, while working at a mental health Hospital, Emmanuel Onyemem recognized the fact that behaviorally challenged individuals needed to have access to personalized basic mental health care.

In 2008, Daystars Community Mental center was conceptualized and incorporated by Emmanuel Onyemem under the first medical Director Dr. Matthew Brams and The Program Director Ms. Gloria Francis, who developed a treatment program that has been time tested for quality care that has resulted in desired outcomes that are consistent with current practices.

Daystars Inc. has its main office in Stafford Texas, and recently Daystars Inc #2 was opened in SE Houston.

In May 2020, Daystars Inc added Case Management license to its portfolio.

Through the years Daystars Inc. has maintained its ability to keep up with a cost effective and problem- solving approach to integrated mental health care.

Today Daystars Inc is run by Emmanuel Onyemem Jr who in 2018 took the reins as CEO from Onyemem Sr. who remains chair of the board.
